The digital display is positioned in the handle, so you can keep an eye on the temperature while working. Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit using the control button, and use the movable probe to position the sensing tip where it is most useful. The thermometer measures from -50°C to 300°C (-58°F to 572°F), with stated accuracy of ±1°C / 1.8°F.

The probe is removable for cleaning. Hand-wash the utensil and thermometer components, taking care around the digital display and battery compartment. The unit does not have an automatic shut-off function, so switch it off after use and store it dry.
